There are several useful things I always take during travel. The first is this stainless steel water bottle with a clip. It’s been around the world many times. I can attach a carabiner to the clip and connect it to a back pack. It seals enough that I can get it through all sorts of air travel and fill it with clean water in countries where this  commodity  must be purchased.

This heater coil is invaluable. I can make coffee, rice, heat soup, and enjoy hot water in conditions where these may not be available, or only at foreigner prices.

I have a set of stainless steel nesting pots which act as lids, cookware, and even dishware. These have been incredibly useful when making food, coffee, or tea in my room. Bought from the commies and made in….in….maybe….I NEEDED TO ASK THEM IF THEY HAD MADE IN USA ITEMS. And can the workers unionize? Could I see the Factory?

These scarves from America, Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka go everywhere. I put them over my face to sleep on aircraft. I use them as blankets when it is cold. They are useful as headscarves in climates where temperatures are over 100°. You can cover your mouth in smog countries. And they make you more comfortable since you can cover up in the pervert countries. Recently, I wrapped one around as I went to an American hotel laundry room after being stranded at an airport and in the same clothes for too many days. So how about a cover-up to strip down and launder after airline stranding monopoly nonsense. Go Airline Monopolies!

A few cheap hangers are invaluable when you are washing your clothing in the sink or tub and need to find a way to get it to dry. Many hotels do not have hangers that you can remove from the closets, and these cheapies can be left for the next customers.

This jump rope also doubles as a clothesline in your room in case once again there are no places to dry the clothes you just laundered. Furthermore, if you are in a location where you can’t get to a gym or go outside to run you might find a spot where this item is very useful.
I also travel with shoe dryers in winter climates. Yet, if had to review the list I think the most useful item is the stainless-steel water bottle, and don’t forget you can never have enough carabiners. Or info about the world. Photos from a European Hotel room.
