Imagine a politician calling another out for Gluttony. Then an article in the news, “Congressman makes greedy comments 25 years ago!”
Why is there only one sin, racism, in America? Wow, we really must be incredibly virtuous here – and I’m laughing as I say this.
Pick your screaming sins and calls of condemnation wisely or else you’ll start looking like the second-grader yelling some goofy slur at another child on the playground. If you’re going to virtue signal about sin, at least be honest that if racism isn’t one of your sins you still have many more. Lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, pride… Yes, you virtuous in America, with only one sin…Squak…so holy. Then what about Judgement when you call others racist?

P.S. Matthew 7:1-5
Judging Others
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
