I delivered our Christmas gifts for the Sri Lankan orphans to the shipping company in South Florida this weekend, meeting the October 20 deadline.
The last time I arrived to ship was during the Easter Day Islamic terror attacks which killed 260 and injured 500.

Then I received a text from Sri Lanka as soon as I got to the hotel regarding the unfolding terrorist Easter murders and became so distracted, I even locked the keys in the vehicle delaying my departure from South Florida.

But last night, as I was leaving South Florida, an article about the attacks aftermath appeared on BBC. I was familiar with many of the images depicted in the article and considered the timing very odd. I didn’t realize it was exactly 6 months ago.

What strange brackets of time! The BBC article was about forgiveness. How do we make something so disgusting and evil lose its impact?

I don’t know the answer, but I think the evil of the Islamic terrorists must be countered by love, charity, goodness, mercy, forgiveness, recognition of evil, justice, and all the qualities they don’t possess.

It’s difficult to make any sense of the timing, but it seems there is meaning in here somewhere.
